Jakarta - Bagi maniak balap kuda besi prototipe, MotoGP, tentunya sudah tidak asing dengan Yamaha. Nah, untuk menyambut gelaran MotorGP di Prancis, Yamaha Prancis sengaja merilis replikanya pada model YZF-R1.

Yamaha Prancis menyediakan empat varian grafis, yang disesuaikan dengan keempat pembalap Yamaha, Rossi dan Lorenzo di Fiat Yamaha Team, serta Ben Spies dan Colin Edward di Monster Tech3 Yamaha.

Namun ternyata, tidak hanya grafisnya saja lho, karena Yamaha juga menyematkan beberapa part racing seperti seat cover, tuas racing YEC, dan helm replika yang bisa ditandatangani pembalap aslinya.

Selain itu, seragam resmi Yamaha team, dua tempat di paddock Yamaha selama gelaran MotoGP Le Mans berlangsung, serta 'wildcard' Track day bersama instruktur Yamaha, sekaligus sertifikatnya.

Gilanya lagi, seperti dilansir Topspeed, Jumat (14/5/2010) dari empat varian tersebut, semuanya ludes terjual, dan hanya tersisa versi Colin Edward, padahal, harganya saja lebih mahal $ 1.000 dari versi standar Yamaha YZF-R1.

Siapa yang mau melewatkan kesempatan seperti ini? Seandainya motoGP mampir ke Indonesia pun, pastinya Yamaha Indonesia bakal melakukan hal yang sama, bahkan lebih!

he Honda NSR150 was a motorcycle produced in Thailand by Honda and Taiwan as Honda NSR by Kymco and also manufactured under the name Kymco NSR. The early Taiwanese NSR150 was produced with engines from Japan, but was later casted in Taiwan by Kymco which in the beginning was off less pure quality than the Japanese ones.

The Taiwanese NSR150 had lower power than the ones made in Thailand because the carburetor was smaller and the ports in the cylinder had slightly different size. It is common to switch to a Thailand made cylinder in NSR racing in Taiwan. At some point the CDI was programed to open and then close the RC valve because people came to have there RC valve cleaned under warranty after running cheap 2 stroke oil reducing the power off the engine further.

The Taiwan made NSRs made about 20hp with is not impressive comparing the the Thailand ones producing a bow 30hp.

The NSR150 and NSR150 is quite closely related sharing the same stoke and share the appearance.

Kymco's spare parts supply to Taiwan NSR's are slowly declining with slowed production and competition from very avaliable aftermarket parts.

YSS aftermarket rear suspension has been avaliable for Taiwan NSR's since year 2000.

An interesting fact is that Kymco's 2010 Quannon Naked's 37MM front fork assembly can be nearly directly transplanted on Taiwan made NSR's with the help of a small CNC-ed washer , directly addressing the problem with "head float" under hard acceleration and stability at higher speeds.

The Honda CBR150R is a 150cc 4-stroke sports bike which is part of the Honda CBR series manufactured by APHonda, a Thai owned, Honda affiliated company established in 1986. Built as the successor to the 2-stroke Honda NSR 150, the CBR150R is targeted mainly to Southeast Asia. It was officially launched into the Malaysian market in December 2007 with two color choices offered, red and blue. Black is available in other markets like Thailand, Japan and Indonesia.
